Wellmark BCBS announces 2010 Rate increase

Each year Wellmark BCBS announces their rate increase that takes affect on 04/01.

This year is somewhat of a shocker. Rate increases have been announced that are larger than has been seen for over 7 years.

The rate increase are as follows:-

Independent U65

Pre 96 pools

10.44%

Pool 3

17.19%

Pool 4

22.00%

Pool 5

18.79%

Blue Transitions

25.00%

Other Group Conversion

0.00%

Basic and Standard

17.19%
